A 59-year-old Ohio man reportedly admitted to police that he probably shouldn’t have stolen $166,000 from his non-verbal, nearly blind mother to buy sex dolls, lingerie, cell phones and a computer for watching kiddie porn.
Dayton police armed with a search warrant claim to have recovered five silicone dolls with interchangeable heads, wigs, lingerie, bondage material and sex toys from the home of Shaun Joseph, who has been indicted for stealing from an elderly person and viewing kiddie porn.
According to Dayton Daily News, Joseph told investigators his mother gave him permission to use her credit cards before she started “going south medically.” He allegedly conceded to officers that his purchases may have been "beyond the scope of what she would have permitted.”
Joseph is also accused of not providing his mom “care that she so desperately needed given her mental and physical capacity” prior to being admitted to a nursing home in late 2016.
Computers in Joseph’s home contained “multiple videos of child pornography” according to the report.
An affidavit filed in February also stated credit cards and bank accounts used for “Cam/Web Girls” were registered to Joseph’s ailing mom. Much of Joseph’s perverted paraphernalia was ordered through Amazon, according to Dayton Daily News.
He is free on bond while awaiting a trial date in Montgomery County, Pa.
